Windows Phone 7 handset from LG in September?

Certain Chinese whispers suggest that the first Windows Phone 7 Series handset could be available as early as September and may well be emblazoned with the LG logo.

 

The Chinese incarnation of Engadget is reporting that LG could be the company to pull the trigger on the eagerly-awaited new operating system, following a chat they had with LG Mobile bosses, in Korea, during Chinese New Year.

While September looks like it could be the target date, the source in question was told that it could be anywhere between then and November.

 

According to Microsoft, we’re likely to see the first phones "before the holidays", which in anglo-saxon means "in time to be added to your Christmas list."
