A new theme park called the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” is opening at the Universal Orlando Resort this summer. For muggles like me who have read every book cover-to-cover and watched every movie at least twice, this is exciting news…even if the park is meant to appeal to children, not adults. (Can I borrow someone’s kids?)
Since Orlando is just around the corner from Tampa, I know I’ll be there soon. But in the meantime, a new slide show on Bing teases the coming attractions. The park will include re-creations of Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express train and Hogsmeade shops, for example. You can even try butter beer! Plus there will be some great rides, too.
Although the slide show just has artist’s renderings for now (the real thing is still being built), it’s enough to get you excited about what’s to come.
