Nokia C-Series launch to steal Apple iSlate thunder?

Ding, ding, round three, Nokia are rumoured to be attempting to steal Apple’s thunder next week by launching its range of C-series handsets the day before Apple’s eagerly-anticipated iSlate launch.

The two companies have been locked in legal battles for months now over US-based patent infringements and this move by Nokia could well mark the next stage in the battle.

Nokia initially trademarked the C-series title back in July 2009 but until now the range has remained very elusive.

A launch on January 26th would fall two days ahead of Nokia releasing their fourth quarter figures and just a single day ahead of the San Francisco launch that will see Apple unveil its “latest creation”.

Intrigue, excitement and speculation is circling the tech world with the ferocity of a ravenous pack of sharks as rumours from iSlates to iPhone 4 rear their heads.
