‘iPhone 4 will have camera flash’ say analysts

Following the release of software iPhone OS 4.0, analysts have concluded that the 4th generation iPhone will finally have a camera flash- something not yet seen on previous three generations.

After confirming that the multitasking software rumour was indeed true, and advertising platform ‘iAd’ was far from a Jobsian pipe dream, forecasters have also uncovered more tantalising iPhone 4 clues.

Some analysts have found evidence that there will be a second front-facing camera for video calling.

AppleInsider stated that the three new features have been discovered and "not only shed new light on user photos but also allude to the controlling of camera settings such as white balance.”

The aptly named “AVCaptureDevice.hasFlash”, “AVCaptureDevice.flashMode” and “AVCaptureDevice.hasTorch” are almost insultingly obvious, and therefore it’s safe to say this feature is less mere speculation, more highly likely.

Lack of camera flash is something that has left iPhone users in the dark for years, and now it’s set for release this summer, the HTC Desire has a fight on its hands.
