HP tablet to be cheaper than Apple iPad

A loose lipped bod has let slip that the HP tablet will allegedly cost less than the Apple iPad’s $629 price tag. Revealed at CES 2010, the yet to be priced Windows 7 offering is due to go on sale later this year.
 

Specs are sparse but analysts are predicting that the 3G tablet will run Windows 7, include an Intel Atom processor and have internal storage over 16GB. News of similar specs to the Apple iPad are also being bandied so here’s to hoping that we’ll see a 10-inch screen, multitouch and a full desktop experience.
