But hold fire Android fans (as with our exclusive review handset) UK models won’t come with the much-hyped multitouch support. Also missing will be Google Navigation, a free sat nav application with voice search, 3D satellite images and even traffic status, it’s potentially a serious rival to sat nav apps.

What you will get here accross the pond is a multi tasking svelte handset with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera, push email and a decent music player. You’ll also be one of the first to be safe in the knowledge that you have a potential Apple iPhone killer and the best Android phone yet sitting pretty in your pocket.
