Google Earth Android has the desktop feature Roads layer, which draws road names on top of satellite imagery.

It also has integrated voice recognition so that the app combines map features with Google’s voice search and local search.

Of course, until other mobiles get their Android 2.1 update, you can only use the new app on the Nexus One.

Google Earth for Android 2.1 is available free now from Android Market.
