Rumour and speculation surrounding the iPhone 4G suggest the next edition of Apple’s unstoppable king of the smartphones will include an OLED screen and a removable battery, both of which can be found in Google’s Nexus One. Also suggested is the possibility of the 4G supporting video chat which would imply the device having a forward facing camera.

Along with the above features, reports of a more powerful graphics card and a duel-core processor, much speculation has been surrounding when the 4G will make its arrival. April, May, June and July have all been discussed as possible dates with June appearing most likely for an upgrade following Apple’s previous annual updates to the popular smartphone, 2008 bringing us the iPhone 3G and 2009 the iPhone 3GS.

We have come to expect much of Apple and their hugely popular iPhones and as such, an iPhone 4G that merely matches the specs and functions of the Nexus One seems unlikely to us. Expect Apple to have that little something extra, that killer move, hidden up their sleeve that will once again surpass its competitors.
