cast_sender.js console error

Recently I have started seeing cast_sender.js console errors in one of the websites.

Issue here was It’s the JavaScript code inside the YouTube iframe polls for the extensions it could interoperate with in case they were installed (likely to determine if the extension is installed).

cast_sender.jschrome-extension://boadgeojelhgndaghl…
cast_sender.jschrome-extension://dliochdbjfkdbacpmh…
cast_sender.jschrome-extension://enhhojjnijigcajfph…
cast_sender.jschrome-extension://fmfcbgogabcbclcofg…
cast_sender.jschrome-extension://pkedcjkdefgpdelpbc…
cast_sender.jschrome-extension://fjhoaacokmgbjemofl…

A simple solution – To stop seeing those cast_sender.js errors, edit the youtube link in the iframe src and change embedto v

E.g. If you have a link ” https://www.youtube.com/embed/pw6wBn1pgA8 ” Just replace to look like ” https://www.youtube.com/v/pw6wBn1pgA8 “

How to blur / Hide Sensitive Content – YouTube

youtube_blur_tool_blog_screenshot

YouTube on Thursday rolled out a new Custom Blurring tool for its video creators to hide sensitive information inside their videos. The tool, which now can be used for moving and still objects inside a video, is an extension of the face blur tool YouTube introduced back in 2012.

The feature for now is limited to the desktop version of YouTube. The company says this will help video creators hide information such as vehicle licence plates, credit card numbers, wardrobe malfunctions, and other sensitive content.

Blurring a section of the video is as easy as inserting an annotation. Just select the “blur” option and drag a box around whatever it is that you want blurred. YouTube’s tool will automatically start tracking the object with their proprietary motion tracking algorithm. This ensures that the object is blurred for the duration that you specify.

Creators can simply choose the video they want to edit and select Custom Blurring option placed inside the Blurring Effects tab in the Enhancements tool. They can draw a box over the object which they want to blur and the tool will automatically blur that object as it moves. Creators can even move the blurred box, resize it, and choose when it starts and stops at anytime. A ‘Lock’ option is also present to keep the blurred box still at one place when the subject is not moving. Creators can save the original video as well as the edited copy.

Citizens of the World.
We are Anonymous.

We have been watching recent events as they have slowly but surely unfolded, from the distortion and destruction of the first amendment to legalize and justify political bribery, to the dawn of a new political struggle consisting of millions of citizens crying out in indignation at this misappropriation of the judicial system, and to the very proposal of the so called, “Stop Online Piracy Act”, SOPA, without any concern to ethicality, morality, or responsibility. We have witnessed the recent actions this ‘Corporatocratic’ government has taken the means by which it has justified shutting down megaupload.com, a site that served, and continues to serve, as a very legitimate means of transferring information.

Suffice to say, we are angry.

These recent actions directly oppose the values we uphold, as well as the values of the founding fathers of the United States government. The freedom of information must never be infringed upon, and that the government exists to serve the will of the people, not the will of the financial elite.

They have already been forewarned of the technology at our disposal to defend our right to access information. The legislative entities and Governmental bodies that attempt to impose their law upon what is not theirs need to be forced to understand that we arer a sovereign entity beyond your control.

We therefore have declared as one collective, that the cyberspace domain be independent from the United States government and from any tyrannical laws they seek to impose upon us.

They claim there are problems amongst us that need to be solved. They use this as an excuse to invade our precincts.

They are wrong.

We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere, may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of retribution or of being coerced into silence or conformity.

Their legal concepts of property, expression, identity, movement, and context do not apply to us. They are all based on matter, and there is no matter here. We are a sovereign nation, and we intend on staying as such.

Citizens of the Global Community, join us. Let us defend our home, the internet.

Operation Revenge, engaged.
Operation Megaupload, engaged.
Operation Blackout, engaged.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not Forgive.
We do not Forget.
To the United States Government, you should’ve expected us.
