The most obvious change is the complete redesign UI, just like chrome, the address bar and search bar are now ubiquitously combined as one. Aside from the UI change, Microsoft has also promised to deliver full support for HTML 5, one of the key feature for the future web. In fact, during the press conference, Microsoft showed off some of the HTML 5 App running in IE 9.

One of the new feature for IE 9 in Windows 7 is that you can now easily drag and pin any website as an “app” on the taskbar. For some webapp like twitter for instance, when you pin twitter on the task bar you will notice IE 9’s jump list has even more shortcuts like, sending a tweet, direct message, check for @mention etc.
