This is Part 2 of my aPad videos. This one focuses on upgrading the firmware to improve usability and overall system responsiveness. RockChip CPU aPad 7″ Personal suggestion: Amazon’s Kindle Fire – 7″ multitouch tablet! Here’s the Playlist for all of my aPad videos: Requirements: Will only work with aPad Batch 2. Batch 2 has the webcam, Batch 1 doesn’t. Do not use for Batch 1. Windows OS, must be 32bit version. I used Windows XP. Charge aPad beforehand. Backup files, this will delete your aPad’s files. Download the flasher and image files: Follow video instructions. Suggested readings: Do this firmware update at your own risk. As with all custom firmware updates, there is a chance of “bricking” or damaging the system. Important note for this firmware, when the device sleeps and it wont wake up with the pressing of Home key, hold the Home key and press the power on button.
