In other Apple tablet news, the iPad is set to get Kinect style motion-sensing controls dock which should breathe a little more life into the current iPad model. The Nintendo 3DS, tipped to be one of 2011’s hottest pieces of tech, is set to get an outing at a 3DS event on January 19th, when we hope to finally find out some UK launch details.
Tablets are set to be high on the 2011 agenda, and it looks like the HP Palmpad could be the latest tablet device to land with three models expected to show up at CES in a few weeks time. With Motorola’s tablet offering also set to be unveiled in Vegas, Apple looks set to inherit some serious tablet rivals in the next twelve months. In app news, Sony Ericsson LiveView official Android apps have been revealed, allowing users to master their phone’s power from the new clip-on LiveView accessory. It’s good news for iPhone camera fans too as the Camera+ iPhone app returns the Apple App Store after a brief absence due to breaching Cupertino’s strict terms of service.
