The taxpayers can now link their Aadhaar card with PAN with just an SMS, the Income Tax department has advertised in leading national newspapers. The advertisement narrates the process of how both the unique identity numbers of an individual can be linked by sending an SMS to either 567678 or 56161.
Taxpayers can go to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and click on the link provided on the left hand side ‘Link Aadhaar’ -> Enter PAN -> Enter Aadhaar number -> ENTER NAME EXACTLY AS GIVEN IN AADHAAR CARD (avoid spelling mistakes) -> click submit. After verification from UIDAI, the linking will be confirmed.
• On the UIDAI website, there’s an option under the Aadhaar Update tab that will redirect the user to the Aadhar Self-Service portal.
( Click here to go to the portal directly)
• Enter your Aadhar number, and the Captcha text and request for OTP.
• The OPT will be sent to your existing mobile number, and after submitting it you’ll be redirected to a new page, where you can update the desired details.
• Under ‘Select field(s) to update’, select ‘Mobile Number’
• Now enter your new mobile number that you want to record in the database and submit.
In a forum post on Friday, a OnePlus staff member provided details for a new referral program.
Share your unique referral link with friends. Each friend will get CA$30 towards accessories when they buy a OnePlus smartphone on oneplus.net. You’ll get 100 referral points.
OnePlus introducing a new referral program. Anyone who’s ever bought a OnePlus smartphone past, present, or future, can get a unique referral link. Once you’ve got a link, just share it with someone interested in buying a OnePlus device and wait for them to hit the order button. If your friend uses your link to purchase a OnePlus smartphone, they’ll receive $20 – or an equivalent amount in your local currency – off on an accessory of their choosing. No more than 30 days later, we’ll drop 100 referral points in your referral hub.
How it all works
Step 1: After you order a OnePlus smartphone, get your unique referral link. Then share it with friends, or post your link on social media.
Step 2: Your friend(s) will receive CA$30 off of accessories and gear when they use your link to purchase a OnePlus smartphone.
Step 3: You will receive 100 referral points after your friend purchases a OnePlus smartphone using your link. (Note: please allow up to 30 days for referral points to be added to your account.)
Step 4: Visit your referral hub to view and spend your referral points on OnePlus gear, accessories and coupons.

- The original website was shut down earlier this month
- The new domain is working and has updated content as well
- ExtraTorrent asked users not to fall for clone sites
The fans of the torrent website have reportedly put up a new domain – ExtraTorrent.cd – with content from the original website and have said that new content will be added to the website as well.
Similar to when KickAss Torrents was brought back to life as KickAss.cd, this new site appears to have been restored with all data intact. There doesn’t seem to be any major differences in the two sites, besides the web address. To make things clearer (or muddy them in a sense) there was a communication sent to a few Indian technology publications. The email claims that yes, ExtraTorrent is alive and well thanks to uploaders and admins.
We are a group of uploaders and admins from ExtraTorrent. As you know, SAM from ExtraTorrent pulled the plug yesterday and took all data offline under pressure from authorities. We were in deep shock and have been working hard to get it back online with all previous data.
We have successfully resurrected it back to its glory at extratorrent.cd with all available data. It’s live and new data is continuously being updated. Some small features are not yet working and we are getting it fixed as we speak. Our group had previously resurrected The Pirate Bay and KickAss Torrents (as kickass.cd) when these went offline. These sites are our home and we won’t let anyone destroy them.
