Steve Jobs announced during his interview at the D8 Conference this year that the company has been selling an iPad around every 3 seconds since its launch. Today we have received word from Apple that the official count is at 3 million iPads sold in just 80 days.
It seems that the international launch has contributed to sales significantly and Steve Jobs notes that, “People are loving iPad as it becomes a part of their daily lives,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more people around the world, including those in nine more countries next month.”
