Nokia N8 photos leaked

Are you looking at the future? Quite possibly. According to ripples spreading across the internet the device pictured here is Nokia’s as-yet-unannounced new flagship handset, the N8.

The N8, or N8-00 as some are calling it, is a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen mobile that’ll be looking to bring the N-Series back into world-class territory thanks to the new Symbian^3 OS, a Sony Ericsson Vivaz-worrying 12-megapixel camera and a (rumoured) HDMI port for exporting your 720p videos to your room-filling telly.

The lack of QWERTY keyboard means that Nokia must be planning an entirely touchscreen interface akin to the X6.

Seeing as the quality of these pictures leaves a lot to be desired, you won’t be surprised to hear that there’s no hint of an official word from Nokia, but our guess is that this won’t see the light of day for a good few months yet. We’ll keep you posted…
