Songler, the Windows Media Center add-in that allows you to stream tracks from online music services like Spotify and Last.fm has recently been updated to include YouTube as well. You can already use the add-in to stream music and scrobble them to your Last.fm profile, stream your Last.fm radio stations, and it works with your Media Center remote. Now you can add YouTube to the services supported.
So what’s YouTube got to do with streaming music? A lot, actually. There are thousands of music videos on the site featuring big-name artists. Plus there are the still undiscovered indie gems who haven’t yet hit the big time.
If you’re interested in trying out the new plugin, visit the Songler homepage here and scroll down to the bottom to grab the Songler 2.0 download.
