iPad games ramp up before launch

Following a slew of leaked iPad games earlier this week, Apple’s iTunes database has once again been scoured and found loaded with some amazing new games for the world-changing tablet.

 

App Store winners such as Flight Control and Fieldrunners are being teed up for the slate’s release date, as well as other chart toppers, including Flick Fishing.

Doodle Blast is also being primed for a launch date release, as it becomes increasingly obvious that the iPad App Store will be rammed with optimised titles the minute the first model lands in gadget hungry palms.

 

What is also clear is that prices are definitely being bumped up for the large scale iPad versions of these titles. Flight Control is set to cost $4.99 in the US, while the likes of Real Racing will hit the ten dollar mark.

 

A BBC report today says developers are “testing the waters on pricing”, saying it costs more to work on the iPad and that they don’t know how many people will be willing to buy one off the bat.
