And although it’s primary targeted at the workplace now, you can see the potential the App Marketplace has for consumers.
For app developers, Google will give them access to 25 million customers for a one-off sign off fee of $100 plus 20 per cent of revenue – a smaller share than Apple takes in the Apps Store.
Google says the apps are easy to use and install – signing in to your Google account, select the app you want, sign a service agreement, agree to data sharing and the app will appear in your dropdown.
