From June 1, all the three channels will be known as-ABP News in Hindi, ABP Ananda in Bengali and ABP Majha.
The MCCS on Monday launched a new logo for ABP News. Its popular Hindi news channel STAR News will be called ABP News from June 01, 2012. Bengali news channel STAR Ananda will be ABP Ananda and the Marathi news channel STAR Majha will be called ABP Majha.
The three 24-hour news channels are owned by the Media Content and Communications Pvt Ltd (MCCS) – a joint venture between the Ananda Bazar Patrika Group and STAR India Pvt Ltd. Both Ananda and Majha are No 1 news channels in their respective markets since inception.
In just four days, as The Times reports, Invisible Children’s 30-minute documentary film has rocketed around the Web, garnering more than 40 million views on YouTube and more than 13 million on Vimeo since it was launched on Monday. It has been shared all over Facebook and mentioned tens of thousands of times on Twitter.
KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
The company Always Innovating showed off a cool thumb-drive sizes unit they call HDMI Dongle which can turn and TV with HDMI into a Google TV per se. This device gives the ability to stream HD video from the Internet, watch Netflix, Hulu or Amazon video on-demand, download Android apps and even play games. It comes with a 9-button remote control that has an accelerometer inside so you can play gravity based games, has voice recognition for text input and is NFC-enabled to offer a tap-to-share experience. Lastly, the dongle has 1 to 1.8 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and has an SD Card slot for memory expansion.

This is basically what was going through my mind as I watched Apple’s promotional video for their latest update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, iOS 5. I know that I’m not the only person that can see that Apple just copied directly from Android and Windows Phone, there’s no denying it. I hope that this video can create an obvious visualisation of the features so blatantly stolen from their competition.
