Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani – A Fun-Filled Entertainer

What do you do when every other movie is turning to be a disaster and you are stuck as to how the hell you should spend your weekend? Worry not folks, for Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani is here.
The movie is about Ajab Prem (Ranbir) and his Ghazab Kahani. Prem is happy go lucky fella, a big time phukat who is the president of a ‘Happy Club’ along with his cronies. The club excels at conning people and developing elope plans for lovers. Their motto? Make others happy. The movie takes quick turn when Prem comes face to face with Jennifer (Katrina) and over a period of time falls for her and thus begins the hulla-gulla the movie is all about.
To start off, the movie is a real good attempt at mixing comedy and romance in a unique way which will leave you wanting more. The jokes are fresh and some scenes are simply hilarious. Ranbir Kapoor has really come of age with his superb comic timing and does a fabulous job. The scenes with his dad will make you go ‘roflmao’. Although the movie keeps on switching from drama to comedy at regular intervals which may get a bit irksome…but it surely makes up for all the gags it comes up with.
Katrina is an eye-candy throughout the movie and surprisingly enough she manages to crack you up. Screenplay is really crisp and music is kickass too. Although Rajkumar Santoshi couldn’t quite create the magic of Andaz Apna Apna, APKGK is easily one of his better ones.
So there you go, after all the duds at the box-office, comes a movie which promises to tickle your funny bone and is a clear winner.
