Facebook or Koobface
The Koobface is not a new virus. It posts malicious links on Facebook pages. Moreover it offers to the users of Facebbok to click on link.
According to security experts, users get a Facebook message like as “You look funny in this new video” or something like this.
Another variant is when a user asked to update his Flash in order the video can perform. As a result users are asked to open a file that has the name – flash_player.exe.
After the user followed the instruction the virus appears.
It is advised not to click and even not to open such links. Facebook users should be very attentive and check the URL they are going to enter.
