Mass Effect 2 [Preview]

 
Last in the line-up of EA games we got to sample is arguably the most anticipated of the lot – Mass Effect 2. Once again, the build on showcase is the demo from this year’s E3. This was a very short demo with about 20 minutes of game play, which included a couple of NPC conversations and an enemy encounter.

Final Fantasy XIII- New Japanese trailer released

Square Enix has released what could very well be the final (ahem) trailer before the Japanese launch of Final Fantasy XII, this December. The trailer mainly features pre-rendered cinematic with all the drama and fanfare that the fans have come to expect from FF games—the video also has small bits of in-game battle sequences thrown in for good measure.

Square Enix finally gets a break thanks to Deus Ex 3

   
In interview with Edge, Eidos studio manager Stephane D’Astous mentioned that pre-rendered cinematic for Deus Ex 3 will be created in Tokyo by Square Enix.
 
In the same interview, he mentioned “…people in Tokyo are just so glad to work on it; this is the first project for them that is a non-Final Fantasy title”.
